Rental Rates for 2010
$1500.00 weekend dates - Friday,
Saturday, or Sunday (Deposit $750.00 non-refundable, and a $200.00
refundable damage deposit) See explanation below for deposit information.
$750.00 weekdays - Monday through Thursday
(Deposit due up front $375.00 and non-refundable and a $200.00 refundable damage deposit)
$500.00 (day before your event) - OPTIONAL - (for Wedding Rehearsal/Rehearsal Dinner/Decorating from 12 Noon until 11:00 PM)
- This is only available if there is no event currently booked at La Maison Gautier the day before -
this amount will be figured in with your balance.
All balances are due one month before the event.
No event may go over four (4) hours. (Example: You may enter the house/grounds as early as 6:00 AM
the morning of your event to setup, decorate, and do your rehearsal walk
through. If your wedding is on the grounds starting at 6:00 PM this will
be your start time and will end at 10:00 PM, or if you have a church
wedding beginning at 5:00 PM, and your arrival time at the Old Place is
one hour later, then you go by your arrival time at the Old Place as your
start time.)
Food Services must be performed by a caterer with a valid certification
from the Health Department, no exceptions, this is for your safety.

The $200 damage deposit is refundable at the end of your event, as long as:
Nothing is missing from inside the house, the shed, or on the grounds.
Nothing has been broken/damaged in any way (example: tables, ice chests,
mirrors in the various rooms, draperies on the windows, etc.).
All trash that is accumulated from the wedding itself, must be removed from the house and grounds by you and your caterer.

Facility (House and Galleries) are SMOKE FREE, there is a designated area
that has been roped off for smoking on the grounds.
Renters of La Maison Gautier are required to hire a Security Guard or
a Policeman for their event, if alcoholic beverages, wine, beer,or
champagne are going to be served at the reception.
There will be no more bars set up inside the house (you may have champagne toast
inside the house). Bars; however, may be set up on the galleries,
concrete areas, or on the grounds.
No dance floors No dance floors anywhere on the grounds. There are two pergolas
available (one that is 22' x 22' - normally used to set up bars), and
the other one 42' x 24' - used for setting up Bands/DJ's, and for
dancing. Tables/chairs may also be set up under this pergola. Both
pergolas are covered for protection against rain.
No Chocolate Fountains Allowed
Candles Must Be Dripless. We suggest large candles placed on
glass plates with glass globes.

This security deposit to book your event is a non-refundable deposit - refer to
security deposits above for rates.
We now require renters to hire a Security Guard or Policeman for their event. We only furnish a man
to direct parking.
Make sure that your check or money order is made out to:
La Maison Gautier "The Old Place"
and please make sure that you write the date of your event at
the bottom of your check, so
that you will receive credit for that date.

Included In Your Rent and Your Responsibilities Before Vacating the Premises
- Parking Attendant: to direct guests where to park cars.
- CLEAN UP CREW:
They will be responsible for cleaning all restrooms
inside/outside the house, emptying the trashcans in the bathrooms.
mopping all floors, cleaning fireplace mantles, wiping down the
wood banquet tables in the house, and cleaning all mirrors.
MANAGEMENT: Will take care of the galleries around the house, the concrete areas, the grounds and the parking area.
KITCHEN:
Must be cleaned by the caterers before leaving the premises.
They must remove all trash bags (containing food, plastic ware, plastic
cups, plastic silverware, napkins, and glass beer bottles / wine bottles /
liquor bottles) accumulated from the reception. You are responsible for
your caterer, so make sure when you hire them they understand what is
expected of them.
THE RENTER: Is responsible for removing all their decorations, flowers, personal items, plastic laundry bags, shoe boxes, etc and any leftover food or wedding cake(s) plus any accumulated boxes/trash
from the premises.
- White pedastals (8 count) for plants and ferns.
- Palms (2 types) are located around the house (ferns, you will need to rent)
- Wood Park Benches (5 count)
- Trash Cans -12 (large) with heavy-duty trash bags
- Large heat buster fan
- Kitchen includes: Electric oven, garbage disposal, (2)
microwave ovens, large refrigerator,large cooler located inside the kitchen, ice chests, large
cooler for storing ice bags, and (2) coffee makers
- Banquet Tables:
Wooden banquet tables (6) 8 ft. and (2) 6 ft.
These wooden tables are located inside the house for caterers/food use, and must stay in the house.
Banquet tables (20) - 6 ft. available for outside or inside use.
Other tables (3) - 8 ft. available for outside or inside use.
NO CHAIRS (You will have to rent chairs)

Cancellation Policy:
We understand that plans do change and should this be true of
yours, we respectfully request your advance notice. The security
deposit to book your event is a non-refundable deposit, and the final payment is non-refundable.

Information about the House
- Floor Length Custom Made Draperies on all the windows in every room.
- Walls painted in pastel colors
- Exquisite Crystal Chandeliers hang in the large main room of the house. Antique fans/chandeliers hand in the adjoining rooms.
- Large Gold Framed Mirrors are hung over the fireplace mantles.
- A Covered Pavilion
42' x 24' with concrete floor is located at the back
of the house - there are four 52" fans with lights provided under this
pergola. Connecting to this pergola is a smaller one that is 22' x 22'.
- Two Handicapped Rampsone located at the entry to the large pergola,
and one leading to the gallery - both located on the south side of the
house.
- Newly added: Ladies Bathroom & Sitting Room
- Newly added: Mens Room located next to the large covered pergola.
- Newly added: Addition of another room to the kitchen.
